@123ShadowFox A couple of years ago you asked about the notation of gagaku. Part of it is memorization and long practice, but there is also a Chinese notation system that has been used in Japan since at least the 9th century. Look up gong che pu or gong che notation in Wikipedia for information.

I'm not sure...but i think they have letter notation, or they r just keeping it like improvisation, ear to ear ..
