i´m driving this engine in a meriva. it feels a bit like old fashioned turbos with a big turbo lag.
once you got used to it its wonderful, especially when the engine is on temperature. you can accelerate easily from 1000rpms in 5. gear (in meriva, which is weighing about 300kg more than the corsa!). my consumption is between 4 and 5,5 liters per 100km, what is adorable considering the weight.
in addition its very reliable.

whats this engine like? i have a 1.0 at moment as my first car and am looking to upgrade to a faster but cheap to run car, i like the corsa so would like to stick to one of them.
