Shim a combination lock in under 15 seconds

I use a shim to gain access to anything that could be locked behind this combination lock in under 15 seconds.

if you are not sure what a shim is, I used a thin sheet of metal and slid it in between the two parts of the locking mechanism. I used a soda can.

now it wont last forever, but it is good in a quick way. professional shims are sold also.

alright man, i made 4 out of an altoid tin and im lovin it. i've used the same one non stop on a lock just shimming it over and over again while watching tv and it has almost no damage done to the shim. better than the factory made ones

If I may offer a piece of constructive criticism, When you're making a video like this, you should explain exactly what it is you are doing. What is that little thing you used to open the lock? Where did you get? What is it doing inside of the lock to open it? Those are the kinds of things people want to know when they watch these kinds of videos.

@RottingDragon Its a shim made out an a pop can you cut it into an M shape and fold the two ends sticking down up so just the point (middle of the M) is sticking down don't make the point too big just big enough to slide on one side of the lock then you twist it around like he did on the vid and tada an open lock.

o and it tells u on the package to always wash ur hands after handling this product i sugest that u stay away from brinks products and im sticking with masterlock from now on. thats just not right they shouldnt have things that dangerus in any product. and im sorry 4 my spelling errors as u can tell im not the best speller

i hate brinks now bc i just bought that same combo lock bc it was cheap and i wanted an extra lock to keep in my car incase i needed it 4 somthing so i got 1 took it home and opend it and it said that it contains 1 or more chemicals that may cause canser and birth defects and other crap idk ab the rest of u but i sugjest that u always read b4 u buy and i want to beable to have children and live along time. thank u 4 reading this i just want to keep all of u safe and im pissd bc of what it says
