I lived in Greenland 1991-1994.
There was a lake near our home...at wintertime it frozed completely.
A clear night in December when all the stars where visible, we walked across the lake. All you could hear was our footsteps in the snow when suddenly the Aurora Borealis showed itself in all its mighty beauty...
I felt very small and was completely filled with awe!!!!!!!!!!!
