Im not sure because I haven't seen the video with full sound and full editing, but it doesn't look like your muzzle flashes are producing light, if you want a really good hand on depth tutorial on how to do them, goto freddiew's youtube channel, and he has some tutorials, and in those he teaches how to add glow and a light effect.
