@NYJALB to be fair they aren't many episodes, its only an accent. besides we portray americans just as badly. If their accents were really like british shows portray then you'd think all yanks speak in a very strong southern accent with marshmallows shoved up their noses.

@yeeyoh They are positively cringe-worthy for us Brits.....they are supposed to be from Manchester, but Simon has the worst attempt at a cockney (London) accent since Dick Van Dykes effort in Mary Poppins......did they not have s single researcher among the massive production staff of this show!!?

The show got so much less likable when Daphne's family came onto the scene. Simon and Mrs. Moon aren't even funny, they're just obnoxious.

I really have enjoyed the Fraiser shows but Daphne's relatives are by far my least favourite part of them. And the Mom showing up to stay just as Niles and Daphne are getting together, very disappointing. But hey it's a great series so there are bound to be a few things I don't like.
