How does the rape chokes work? They are legal in MMA? I thought you couldn't squeeze the throat with your hands, only with your arms, because of fear of damage to the throat skin and also the spine.

Mir ... no chance fighter of the year .. He beat a guy in his first fight and a zombified NOG . He did well no doubt but I think it would have 2 go 2 Rashad .. he had the ko of the year and he holds the belt ( not an interim belt) and I say this as a person who aint even a fan of Rashad's cocky ass

I like boxing, but only the big bouts, big names, and big beefs. I don't watch but maybe 4 cards a year, but I will buy them. I've seen every "big bout" for long time but all the smaller stuff, I'm not really the dude.
I don't follow them until they are stars.

I do agree with that statement. Arlovski at this time is the best boxer in MMA and Barnett vs. Nog has split their fights, however, with Nog's last performance, I would have a hard time betting on him against either of the two. But forgetting nog, for now, I think AA and Barnett are the best competition for Fedor as of now. After he fights and possible beats them, it would be nice to see him fight Mir etc

Beggin your pardon, but I wasn't comparing UFC heavies to Fedor, I was comparing them to Arlofski and Barnett, and the fact that you didn't really address that kinda says something to me. I mean, if you wanna rethink the statement "The UFC doesn't even have 2 fighters in the HW division as good as Arlovski and Barnett," I wouldn't think any less of you. But for my part, I wouldn't even bet hard money on them beating Nog, and I could have sworn that I saw Mir dismantle him.
