i like how the only way bill wins a conversation with scholars is when he cuts them short or the film short he is very foolish, so he is saying dont believe in Jesus christ??? because he has come to save the world and love the weak and save us from our own sin and make it to heaven yeah theres nothing good about that message???

Finally someone agrees

Take the worst and pretend it's the norm.
That's never been tried before!

Just watched the whole movie. kind of frightening if u ask me....

@lasseplatburk I believe you're referring to the man that wanted to follow Jesus but asked to bury his dad first. And Jesus said forget him. Why dwell on the dead. Which makes since.
Seeing that half of the stuff, if not all, Jesus said was metaphorical, couldn't the "only through me" have been. I think he meant through his teachings you could acheive a better state of life. Through treating others right, you could acheive a better state of life.

@Skyswinger lol i think i might start leaving copies of the religulous dvd in chrurches, on the inside of the bibles :D
-
@tenchikou Well, he also told people to abandon their families to follow him, that he was the only way to salvation and said that if they loved their families more than they loved him they were unworthy. Sounds like something GG Allin would have said.
-
@tenchikou Okay, well the gospels were written decades after Jesus died and were merely written based on hearsay about Jesus' life. So, really, it's not really trust-worthy information.
-
@bigfrotes9912 I know him as well as someone who studies Abraham Lincoln would. I've read material that others wrote about him. (the gospels) Take out the small-changes from book to book and you'll see what is constant - what is the most trust-worthy information - what he taught.
He didn't teach walking on water or healing. He taught to love one another. Somewhere along the line, Christianity lost that value when Rome endorsed it.
-
@lasseplatburk Crazy because he taught to treat each other as themself. Crazy because he included everyone? There was no grouping, that came after Jesus. And with no group there could be no cult.
The cult of Christianity came AFTER his death.
As for hippie, well, you probably are right there.
-
@tenchikou I'm sure you knew Jesus really well 2000 years ago.
-
I like you Bill, I like you a lot. Would be nice to have you in England but I think you're more needed in America.
-
@kianslt4 haha be careful now you're going to be called a pawn of satan
-
WHO IS GOD? WHAT"HIS REAL NAME? GOD GOD? WHY IS JESUS FAMOUS? HE DIED 2000 YEARS AGO!!! WHY DONT UBELIEVE IN GHOSTS, BIGFOOTS, AND SHIT LIKE THAT WHERE THERE IS EVIDENCE!!!??? BUT PEOPLE DONT BELIVE IN FAIRY TALES!!OF COURSE THEREE IS NO EVIDENCE!! BUT THESE APES BELIVE IN THE SOCALLED GOD!!! JUST BULLSHIT!! STUPID RELIGION!!
-
@tenchikou If he had lived today he would have been considered a crazy hippie cult leader
-
Christians are irrational. Jesus was rational.
-
@cyberslick18 you would be right if King's faith had no positive effect on his action. This is not true, if you read King's autobiography or even do a quick a youtube search you will see that it is his faith that prompted him to stand up for righteousness even to the point where he was happy to die for African-American rights. Likewise it is true for William Wilberforce. Whilst there has been a lot of bad from religion one cannot be ignorant to much of the good that has come from religion too.

Go Jews!!
The world will never know peace until it gets rid of religion.

@jwsyt2 I do not talk to 2000 year old Jewish zombie spirits. I will continue to live my life, here in reality, while you pray to your God for the end of days. It's not coming... he's not coming, and hopefully you can just live out your life quietly, albeit a litle psychotically.
