http://taylor.veltrop.com/robotics.php Made from Legos. It is an implementation of the Shrimp III rover robot. The steps are 18cm tall and span 26cm. It can go over almost anything that is as tall as itself. Unfortunately, this camera could only record 75 continuous seconds.

  • is that mario in the background

  • @radioactivemovies good ear man! it sure is!

  • How many motors did you use? and where did you position them?

  • There are 7 motors. One for each wheel, and two on the back for more climbing power. You can see the assemblies and positioning at my website!

Look at the images: Rear Dual Motor Assembly; Very Small Motor Assembly; and Motor Assembly Separated. It is possible to have steering by adding a turntable and motor to the front and back assemblies.

  • @1997Paranoid Sure, $50 an hour.

  • @1997Paranoid This required two mindstorms sets and additional motors. If you donate a couple nxt sets I'd be happy to build one ;)

  • this robot's too big.. I search for a robot which is half the size of the ledge.. >.< any idea?

  • your SHRIMP is huge!! i was looking for your video that pulled it off... this is the one :) but your 'explode' video was the first i saw LOL ahhhh

  • I originally bought two Mindstorms kits. Then I bought many extra wheels and motors from the Lego Educational Store online.
