sentry was the greatest hero of all. He tried so hard to make up for his past mistakes while constantly fighting his own inner demons. He proved to the other heroes what it truly means to be a hero. Be kind and help your friends and dont stoop to lower levels of criminals even if they deserve it. The sentry gave up amazing things and sacrificed his happiness and carried the burdens of his friends on his shoulders just so they could be happy.

Sentry had already tried to commit suicide by throwing himself into the sun into the sun and it didn't work. That is how I know Sentry will return. I bet Thor would have tried something different if he knew that.

They killed Sentry because Bendis couldn't figure out how to write him...what a disappointment, Bendis raped the character, shit on his body and then threw him into the sun all because he couldn't figure out what to do with him (aka he has no talent).

Bendis is the worst thing to happen to Marvel comics (Avengers in particular, take wolvie and spidey off the team).

Bring back Sentry and put him in the hands of a REAL writer (like Paul Jenkins)

The sentry didn't get anywhere near the core when he tried to kill himself or when thor set him into the sun. but it's also the same concept as when he fought the WWH that if you punch sentry hard enough for a long enough time then he'll eventually revert which is when you can kill him.

@PJmcfairybouncer You can't say he didn't go into the sun's core, it never says in the comic how far in he went. In fact, we never even really see him come in contact with the sun. And since Sentry had already been into the sun and returned, I would think he would have to go pretty far into it for it to "kill" him. If Sentry didn't go into the sun's core that only further supports my stance on him not being dead. As far as the Odinforce thing goes, I know that lightning is nowhere near the...

@dre2you well correct me if i'm wrong but isn't this Odinforce thor? That said i think his lightning is probably hotter than normal lightning wouldn't you agree. also the sentry didn't go into the Sun's Core and even if he did i think the sun's core is only like 3 times hotter than the corona. Again i am trying to remember all this from earth and space science so you might want to google it to be safe.

@PJmcfairybouncer Lightning is only hotter than the sun's surface, the sun's inner layers and core are 500 times hotter than lightning. And Thor's been hitting people with lightning forever, they all haven't just fell over and died.
