Channel Islands Surf Fins by: True Ames

Until now, the devastating allure of the fiberglass fin - with its lovely flex and drive - has long been oppressed by the bearable lightness of their plastic counterparts. The Resin Transfer Method (RTM) allows us to construct a composite fin, inside which hexagonal pieces of lightweight coremat displace fiberglass and resin. The result: a fin that is up to 25% lighter than a normal fiberglass fin yet retains the same positive flex and amazing drive.
