Glendale Community College's biology department created a riparian/greenhouse to house the endangered Chiricahua Leopard Frog. Biology instructor, Phil Fernandez, will be leading the way under the guidance of the AZ Game & Fish Department to allow these 50 frogs and 60 tadpoles to mature and reproduce in a safe environment. You can visit these frogs anytime by peering through the windows in the southwest corner of the life science building.

In this video the frogs are first being acclimated to their new water. After getting used to the water, they are fully released into the pond. Finally, the frogs are fed. When the frogs eat and act as normal, it is proof that they have traveled and adjusted successfully.
