The Park "Huangpu" lies on the north side of Bund. The tower in the memory of a popular hero stands there. On the opposite bank, one sees the "Pudong New District" with its consulate in Russia. The "garden bridge" is the oldest metal bridge in China and was built by the British. Starting from March 2008 a part of the bridge was removed for repairing.
