Wow! how long have you been playing the violin for?

@AysiahC roughly two zillion years. =) Actually, since I was 3 years old. I had pushy parents. I stopped playing classical music at 15 or so, and started playing Irish fiddle. I've since moved into Cape Breton and Scottish fiddle more, and have just recently become interested in Norwegian folk and Hardanger fiddle music.

Couple responses--

I sadly don't have any sheet music because I learned it by ear off the CD.

It's not from Braveheart, the piece from Braveheart is considerably less technically-complex than this, and would be pretty straightforward to learn.

And yeah, it's not just you--my timing is off...I was doing this more to demonstrate that this piece can be played on an acoustic, and without my real recording setup (which is in another state) I tend to lose sync. =(

umm are you sure, because this song was writen by ronan hardiman, and was specifically written for Feet of flames, seeming how that also the last Braveheart came out in 1995, and Feet of Flames had come out in 1998....
