  • I do have a child with Aspergers & a couple friends' kids are high functioning Autistic. They are different.

p.s. are you not aware that the R word is as offensive as the N word? Or are you clueless on all fronts? Or simply lacking all care?

  • Will all of you immature posters stop teasing us with this 'assburger' thing? I look to a bright and wonderful future for my friends and I with AS, and it would hurt you just as bad if we replied the same way you did. Show some love and respect more often like we were born to do.

  • @parkercadie1 Very true, and some people wonder why people can be hesitant to be open about having this syndrome.

  • Well, people are ignorant to believe that prejudice comes in terms of race and color only. There are other ways to be bigoted!

  • @LycanthropicAsshole: Hey gypsy! Serial killing is not of enough interest to put that much time and devotion into (which takes ALLOT; you have to learn how the victem's emotions to manipulate etc and serial killers do this compulsively for foolish sexual reasons, there is not simply any incentive).

This accusation is already for the newfags

  • That symbol for Asperger Awareness I always disliked, the rainbow ribbon.

Though it is apt, rainbows are too universal and cannot be owned by any one group (as it represents them ALL, the Tibetans used the symbol in this way).

I always thought that AS should be represented by the sun, as it is wholly independent of the mundane things, and illuminates all around it (truth and honesty). Of course, a RAINBOW CORONA around this sun would be so beautiful, it would make sense.

  • @SecretSoceity When you get to the core of the issue, most of these psuedo-disorders are really just the way that the "man" or the "institution" labells people who are not "adjusted" and do not conform to the system of soceital control. The regular person is so narrow-minded, brainwashed, conditioned and trained that basically all their behaviours are synchronised in a herd-like manner. Anyone that stands out in a noticable way attracts negative attention - thus people like to stare at us.

  • @SecretSoceity When people with Aspergers develop a passion with human psychology, we activley learn how to communicate as a form of control. To control those around us, so they avoid eye contact with us as opposed to the other way around. Its not really "Aspergers" per-se, basically just about every person who has been labelled "different" or people who are "intelligent" "think for themselves" or "unique" - this includes most television celebrities and vocal political leaders - the non-sheep.

  • Aspergers, Bipolar, Schitzophrenia, Sociopathy - In order of extremity. The reason for these disorders relates to the problem of the human ego. People with Aspergers or people on the "soft" side of the disorder will avoid eye contact, people on the other side or the "hard" side will pursue eye contact in an aggressive manner. We must also remember that these disorders are pronounced in Western soceities, right about the time of vaccines, water flouridation and commercial television.

  • @LycanthropicAsshole Where did you get the moronic idea that all serial killers had asperger's. That is a completely unfounded accusation. Considering that you want to kill an entire group of the populace just because they have a developmental disorder (which isn't their fault) you appear to have extreme homicidal tendencies. Do everyone unfortunate enough to know you a favor, get the psychiatric help you desperately need.
