Saratoga Lake, N Y

Me & MJ taking a ride around Saratoga Lake except she fell asleep and so its just ME & YOU GUYS!
Its Early yet, as things bloom and the leaves on trees fill out it gets so beautiful to drive along the lake :-)

Unfortunately, I haven't lived there in about 37 years and don't know the address.

But if you go to 782 lake rd (again, I'm using Google earth) and look across the dried up pond, you'll see several houses. It's the smallest one facing the pond. I don't know how close you are to this area, I don't want to put you out of the way. I listed the coordinates because I figured using Google earth it might be possible to pinpoint the exact spot.

Thanks, yeah I dont really know how to use google earth LOL DUH! I wrote this down and will get there soon. Im close enough and I will take my grandaughter for a ride, good excuse to get out for a bit :-) I will let ya know!

Sheesh, I go by there all the time LOL I even stop at the Stewarts there on the corner. I go that way to get to Mechanichville the long way so I can travel along the lake Then I turn UP Lake Rd. Your Place is on the right correct? I just took 3 pics from google and I bet you could tell me which house was yours then I could shoot the right house. You care to send me your email in my YouTube email so you dont make it public here? Up to you :-) Im all excited LOL

I would love to see the place again. I saw the area on Google Earth. I could see the dry pond bed. Also, they changed the way the road forks. The exact location (by Google Earth is: 42°59'1.26" N latitude 73°44'48.84" W Longitude

It looks like the home is still there. (It's hard to tell if it's the same house) But yes, I would love to have a picture. Haven't seen it since July 1972.

Can you give me the exact address? I will drive over there maybe on thur. or friday, I have a digital camera so I can upload the pic to show you. If you dont want to put the address here just drop it in my YouTube email. Color and box number and any land mark I might need to be exact. This sounds like fun.

I used to live @ Saratoga Lake. (1969-1972) Where 9P meets Lake Rd. There was a tavern called Fay's about a 5 min walk from the house. At the time Kaydeross park was just a few hundred yards further. There was a good sized pond in front of our house. I think it has since been drained. What fun Ice skating in winter (the pond) & fishing in summer (the Lake) I suspect the lake is cleaner now then in 1970. Remember snake hill well. Also remember the green bridge and Beverly's boats & bait.
