The old saying "desperate times call for desperate measures" might be an understatement when you consider the crazy things some people do for money. Some unscrupulous people who have not planned well are trying to take matters into their own hands, and some have even tried to get away with crimes in order to keep ahead financially.

The problem is, there is an increasing number of "questionable claims" being submitted to insurance companies, from fake slips-and-falls in grocery stores to staging auto accidents. One Florida man went so far as to freeze his dead wife's body just to continue collecting her Social Security benefits. The key to solving this problem is to gain awareness and always report any suspicious activity.
