In fact Skodas become one of the best value for money cars in Europe...

@desimunda116 Skoda, a big yes, great cars, the Yeti, Superb and Octavia would sell well there, with 1.8 TSi and 2.0 TSi petrol engines and the 170 CR Diesel, but Fiat and Alfa Romeo - absolute bottom of the pile, unreliable, poor qualty, poor results and feedback from owners surveys etc. Citroen - the DS3 and C5 are great looking cars, .Peugeot - only the 508 is a decent one, the rest are hideous.Renault - dodgy electrics, poor reliability and cheap trim. Pagani, ohhh yess!

@Azureecosse They are Taxi cabs, Polive cars and Ambulances - all for some very obvious reasons - Reliability, Quality and Refinement. So, because they are taxis and get dents thats a reason not to buy one then. How pathetic is that! Shame everyone doesnt avoid Corsas then as they are just driving school cars, and transit vans as they are just BT works vans. Diesel or petrol, the Superb is as its name suggests -SUPERB!

This is a really nice car. I think it looks good in light metallic silvery blue. Amazingly good car for the money.

You can buy the 2.0 litre 170 bhp common-rail diesel. Apparently it is quieter and runs smoothly being a much newer design of engine. You can also buy the low powered greenline diesel version and pay less tax. Recently I have seen a few light blue metallic ones which look quite good. They are an excellent car. Very much recommended in both Ireland and the UK. Look how highly it is rated in the UK main motoring magazines. It recently won more prizes.

@desimunda116 believe me you dont want Skoda's in US they are Taxi cabs here in Scotland, and they usually sport big dents and Diesel engines.

It's an excellent car;it is spacious in the back for 3 adults with classleading rear legroom and up front too with decent bootspace as well.
