The pain of a market town

Welcome to Horsham in West Sussex where, to reach the park and ride, you must drive through the town centre, and out the other side -- and then take a bus back in.
Why? Because the P&R was so disastrous, that plans for another three, covering the main entry routes, were scrapped.
But rather than mothballing it, the council ramped up all-day town centre parking to £10 to try to force its use ... while keeping more than 200 free spaces for their own staff.
