Thanks for your trying best! But it isn't real cooking type. Because u didn't use peanuts powder and cooked yellow dhalls. U need to boil dhalls untill soft. Now your mohinga is like curry. It must be soup. Anyway thanks for good idea.

It turned into your own style Burmese fish soup, mohinkhar. Probably, you can't find banana stem in overseas countries. That's why you picked bamboo shoot in stead. Thanks for trying your best !

Umm I am Burmese (both parents) I also lived in Burma for some time but I have never seen Mohinga made like this or with Bamboo shoots in it?? This is obviously your personal take on a TRADITIONAL dish.. I'm sure it tastes wonderful but it is not the Burmese recipe..I will give yours a try though to compare..My 80 year old Mum just watched it again with me and she raised a quizzical eyebrow and said well we should try it and see..So I'll give it a go to see the difference.. Thanks for posting..
