fact! new refineries arent being built because people dont want them in their communities. they're eye soars and people are scared of possible chemical leaks or what not.... oil companies would love to produce more refineries because they'd make more money.

hilarious! houstons refineries were destroyed! lol, BP plant explosion is was the closest thing to houstons refineries being destroyed. actually it wasnt destroyed still operational till this moment. and hurricane rita didnt hurt houstons refineries at all. what a crock of shit! cant believe cnn put this together. idiots. more refineries are needed though to keep up with demand for energy... refineries can only produce soo much, new ones are needed to meet new demands.
