Bb Blues Playalong

A Big Band blues to play along to. The part is intended for any Bb instrument, and the part is best seen in full screen. I apologise for the low quality of picture. The solo section is in C blues for a Bb instrument. It is my own compostition, and the sounds used are from sibelius 4. Please comment if there is something that could be done better, and feel free to post vids of yourselves playing along.

alto is in Eb so thats probly whit is sounds weird how do i transpose this?

Play everything a fifth above, so a C becomes a G, a C# becones a G# and so on

You need to work on those voicings man. Harmonising sax lines in 5ths doesn't sound hip.

@Kebabzruz For Eb instruments, you transpose a minor third down (three half-steps). Bb blues for alto would be G blues. Bb blues for tenor and trumpet would be C (one whole step up.)

I'm blown away by you guys!! Your bass player is crazy tight in that intro and your horn section totally reminds me of the brass bands I heard in New Orleans. Keep on keeping on!! If you guys ever tour through Pasedena little me know, would love to check you guys out.
