@ultimatekai yes i agree, but i think he acted with those certain mannerisms because he is still the bad guy. he is a man who is right on the edge of snapping and being "normal". so, the certain laughs and smirks are quite relatable to the character, in my opinion. plus, it was the 70s and that kind of stuff just wasn't common, so people weren't as on guard or tuned in to it. this is just my opinion though. don't want to start some conflict.

I'm sorry, I love Stanly Tucci's performance, but I have to disagree with him. There was very much off about the character that would give him away and cause her to run. I didn't see him as normal. And no, it wasn't because I knew he was the killer. It was like his mannerisms and his laugh and his smirk. He didn't seem right.
