  • so where are we now with MYT engine in getting it to the public, i hope the oil companies havent stopped it...

  • It's 2011, why haven't I heard of this engine?

  • by the knocking of it feels like on high revolutions its gonna cranck the other pistons

  • Even today the model t ford will run on almost any fuel you can pour the tank the ignition system was a master peice .. today this is close ,and has the posibilaty to put america BACK on wheels...

  • maybe not put two or three gm 10 -71s stacked with exturnal drive then you see if the pistons go and the cran turns on a standard 327 v8?

  • in a motor cycle ? why not a R model mack truck with 80 thousand pounds out back ?

  • Model engineers scratch build all kinds of engines in home workshops. A search on YouTube will show many scale V8, V12, turbojet & steam engines. All these engines work perfectly. These engines typically cost a few thousand dollars to build.

So, if scratch built working engines are built by many hobbyists at modest expense then why, after all these years, is there no working prototype of the MYT?

Prove it works. Build an engine, put it in a motorcycle, and ride from coast to coast...

  • I suspect this could work, however I imagine he doesn't have the resources to perfect the engine which is why he has to run it on air.

The fact they are this far along is impressive.

  • he's been hacking this engine for years yet he never demos the engine with gasoline, because in my opinion it will not work.

reason#1: During the combustion process both pistons will want to move away from each other. So there is nothing to keep them moving in the direction he wants them to. that is why he only demonstrates it with compressed air because there is not combustion process.

  • i think the piston has a blind edge we dont see to hide his ceramic rings. if the engine runs 3 or 400 deg so what but most diesel run cool the key here is the compresion ratio. i say it can set in a tube of water like fairbanks &morse and run cool , another factor is the engine loading is still the same. and his motor

might use the same amount of fuel as a 848 cid motor .. TO RUN the same temp if he uses less< temp will rise
