Sounds damn sweet!

Awesome! Its time for a new 12" speaker in my '65 ampeg gemini 1 that was just recapped and re-tubed. This video just about settles the speaker debate for me. Tone Tubby it is...

Its official. I'm getting the tone tubby alnico's. They really do sing!

Thanks to anyone who left a nice comment.
About gear: I'm a gearhead who's spent decades experimenting & inventing in my studio & workshop. None of that guitars electronics are anything or any model that's ever been on the market before, but those saying P90 are closest to the ball park (yet still a fair way off).
I was at a different booth when William suggested I meet the Tone Tubby guys & try their gear, so walked over with just my guitar, shook hands & (will continue)

...continued ..had been plugged into their gear for 30 seconds when William said "play a tune from start to finish & whipped out his cam-corder. I played sleepwalk which is slow enough to dial in the sound while playing, but by the end still hadn't figured how to reduce the distortion & feedback on his line 6 echo because it didn't have normally labeled controls for feedback, mix, delay time etc.. Anyway, for what it's worth, I thought his amps & the Tone Tubby speakers were great. Cheers, rob

you are fucking great Rob!

@BluesWilliam They sound amazing, so they are not just standard p-90's. Thats what a guitar should sound like!!!!!!!

Does this guitar have P90's I haven't seen a response yet and am dying to know, this is the best sounding les paul iv'e ever heard and considering its through just the camera im sure it sounded even better. also were these the alnico or ceramics?

would a ceramic tone tubby be a good match with a greenback in a 2x12 cab?

I would say yes, but you should call the boys at Tone-Tubby. I am an amp builder who likes their speakers, and have displayed my amps in their NAMM booth for demo.
