this incredible and rare documentary presented by the discovery channel and the smithsonian institute about the beautiful X-15... and the heroes who flew it...

"199 flights where made for the X-15 program... for the space shuttle and for whatever winged vehicle may follow looking to fly across the threshold of space and back... its legacy is immense"
