  • Graiskye cmment from 4 months ago was right on! That's how I play. I 've been told I'M a solid drummer...not saying i don't speed up and slow down...But I always know when to land on my feet...bring it back down into the pocket as they say.....BTW......THESE CATS CAN FLAT OUT PLAY! no coping SRV here just a good Blues player, Like SRV

  • @r4wmaterial Why he want to be like SRV, cause of the hat, get a grip troll. Bules be blues be blues.

You either got it or you dont. And Steve hes got it. I imagine you don't, because you obviously didn't get this. Play that motherfucker Steve.

  • Pocket man refers to a drummers ability to always land on his feet, and back in the pocket. It is not necessarily prefect timing a la metronome, because a really good drummer will speed up and slow down with the song, the emotion of the song etc.... These are very small changes generally, but a seasoned musician will notice A pocket man always ends up back in the 'pocket', on beat on rhythm, no matter how crazy the tune gets. That is my interpretation of a Pocketman, other may vary.

  • i think pocket man means perfect timing, like a human metronome.

  • these cats are the bomb

  • absolutely primo, damn that was killer

  • I'll upgrade that to fuckingn awesome. Thanks.

  • Great work gents.

  • very good.
