@BoS341 I think I understand what you mean, your thinking of the swords which look more like viking/knights broardswords, they are indeed templar swords but from the time of 1100. In the masonic order there are knight templars based on the first knights from the crusade, the sword in the video is from that, a silver sword without gold belongs to a knight templar in the Order a gold one is from somebody with a higher rank in the order.

@BoS341 I'm abit confused about what you mean "not a real templar sword"!, maybe you could explain please?
-
@vandegevel1 yes its a masonic sword but its not a real templar sword

@BoS341 This is "clearly a Masonic sword ", a decoration sword. The Square symbolizes things of the earth, and it also symbolizes honor, integrity, truthfulness, and the other ways we should relate to this world and the people in it. The Compasses symbolize things of the spirit of keeping ourselves within bounds. The G stands for Geometry, the science which the ancients believed most revealed the glory of God and His works in the heavens, and it also stands for God.

clearly not a real templar sword because templars couldnt decorate their swords
This is a Knights Templar presentation sword from the late 1800's, it is a masonic fraternal order. You are correct, this is not a sword from 1100's to 1300's.
