The gospels were written within a generation from eyewitness accounts! John wrote a gospel, 3 letters, and of course Revelation. James, the half brother of Jesus wrote a letter as well. You say that these people that walked and talked with Yeshua made this up as a mythical character? No man could have even remotely come up with all this stuff as it fulfills 100% prophecy. No one would have believed it and died for it, if there was no validity.

I've watched several of this guy's videos and he seems like a smart guy. But now he buys into the 'Jesus Myth' theory? Oh brother..! This is a fringe theory in scholarship and not taken seriously for good reason. It might be a lot to ask to do some more research on it but plenty of non-religious professional historians admit Jesus existed as a historical figure. Oh well, can't win 'em all I guess.

I would have really prefered if Dawkins had supplied a little more evidence for certian theroies. He would come out with explanations that I would have really liked him to give more evidence for. I have a copy, and it's pretty good, all the same.
