Huskies have got a instinct to run and race. I have always found it fansicnating to watch them work. In this video I have tried to illustrate how these dogs may strive for eternal glory using the beautiful 'Running to the Light' by my favourite band, Runrig.
I have tried to do two things with this video:
1. Put on screen my personal thoughts from when listening to the song.
2. Imagine what it would be like for husky wanting to be a great racing dog.
This video uses footage I have filmed and gathered from across the world, spanning from 2005-2007 and I hope you enjoy.

for forty plus years i've lived with coydogs, aussie huskies, shep huskies, and a wolf malmute. all were great dogs. . .smart, clean, affectionate, playful, friendly, adventurous, and desiring to please. balto's my favorite movie and winwood's a major inspiration. this is a good video. brings back memories. thanks for posting.

Thanks, well if you are intresting in doing it. Talk to those who already do it first, best to see if you can really take the time/money/effort to do it.
Yes that is the Statue of Balto at 1.44.
