@geekie404 Please…..I myself having worked with two 10th dans from Okinawa and countless other high ranking Okinawa. masters in the shuri-te influenced arts, who have direct training with personal students of Anko Itosu who ..do not use this bent wrist. Additionally I have over 35 years of personal experience with bunkai in/from the naihanchi series (no not the “bunkai” you see here on Youtube)

To the ego police. You are judging him, he is not judging you. Belts have limited meaning, mainly helpful within one's one dojo or kai for communication teacher to student and student to teacher. There is no universal belt standard. To me the true measure of your kata is if you have achieved knowledge, intelligence and wisdom of it in battle application. This is hard to measure viewing solo form but he does appear to have life in his kata.

Kata did it's job....it's like zen...you have to do it...to understand it.
after that,there's nothing to talk about =)
