I purchased this clock at a yard sale for $15.00 and after a tiny bit of adjustment it works great. It needs a new hand nut and the minute hand bushing needs to be adjusted about 30 seconds forward but aside from that it's 100% and works beautifully. I'll perform the bushing adjustment once I replace the hand nut.

In the video the clock is striking four o'clock and both the Westminster chime as well as hourly strike can be heard. It chimes on the quarter hour and strikes on the hour. Background noise in the video is my refrigerator.

Nothing like getting a $715.00 clock for $15.00.

  • Is that a battery operated clock?

  • @porcupinecool No, three wind arbors connect to three mainsprings to power the chime, strike, and timekeeping movement.

  • Hey, excellent sound!

I am a big fan of clocks that chime and strike and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to that one.

    Sincerely, Brad.
