  • “[Y]ou have to take control of him. Control means financial, sexual or psychological control… This is intended to start our conversation on your next phase” – CEO George Friedman to Stratfor analyst Reva Bhalla on 6 December 2011

  • Regarding Obama's reference to America being a Pacific power, it's not just the perception that USA's commitment to Asia is poor. It's also the fact that the latest European economic crisis and European economic weakness force the United States to give more weight to economically healthy Asia as an avenue for opportunity and partnership.

  • @Srd1126 seems like yes and no to me. They are more analytical but they seem to beat around the bush a lot. They try to be impartial and objective but it feels a little disingenuous to me. But at least it's not brazenly offensive bullshit like network tv is. I can't stand Brian Williams and Diane Sawyer and those fucktards, they are just shamelessly disgusting.

  • @Srd1126 Popular media is sensationalized to appeal to the masses, If it is to specific and too clear then it is almost guaranteed to anger someone. Angry people result in lower ratings. On top of this, sadly, many people have no desire to analyze world events, most would rather watch football and lady gaga.

  • @Srd1126 its just you

  • Is it just me or is this 100% better than 99% of what you see in the mainstream media?

Oh, and did Reva get a promotion??

  • Copy, paste, and awake:
