Unexpected Guest

This is the front yard of our Eagle River, Alaska home. We had seen moose pass through many times but this one was a bit more friendly....or hungry.

It's probably not a good idea to feed them. But I'd be hard-pressed not to do the same. cute as a button.

My dad's seen moose in the apple orchirds, now a bunch of houses :( , behind our house in Central mass!

I hope I'm not the one this moose expects food from when enjoying the outdoors. This is a very bad idea besides being illegal and puts others, who are not protected by a deck, in danger of this animal .
