@kidkash0909 pLAN I did not find, but I did run across a number of interesting LAN tools. And possibilities to look at regarding some of our groups WinXP problems. Port forwarding and configurations can be a pesky problem. There has been a couple of mentiions regarding packet scheduling in driver setup.
A couple of guys BattleLAN crashes to desktop (exits) on run. That I have not ironed out but suspect driver setup at the root. An interesting puzzle.

@kidkash0909 Thanks for the reminder. I had forgotten to get back with results. Actually no change. Some may find, some may not find Host. Of those who could not find host, about half could serve and recieve player connects. Very iffy. So, the group is testing something called Wippien. A VPN item. Not as desirable in my opinion. But, it does enable the game connect task a little more dependable

I had been using BattleLAN the last few days that NovaLogic has been down to Play Joint Operations. Looks similar. Start the BattleLAN then run the game in LAN mode. Viola, you and friends may now play without NovaLogic.
I had found it a bit "Iffy". I will try your tip to put your own IP into BattleLAN. We had been just starting BattleLAN with the Server machine IP. It may or may not find it.
I embedded your tutorial in my blog to save breath explaining it.
Thanks much.

why do you have to add your own IP in battle lan? It's wrong if you add only your friend's ip?

cause u have to add all IPs that ur going to use.. its like: your going to play with your friend.. add your IP and his IP and he have to do the same

FritoCs want's to mean that you need 2 or more ip's (owner ip and friends ip's), to connect one and other, and establish a nettwork connection on all ip's, if you dont put your ip, then only those other ip's will play ^^
