The Na Pali Challenge is a 45 mile outrigger canoe race staged on the beautiful island of Kauai. The race begins in Hanalei on the Island's North Shore, and ends at Waimea Pier. Clubs field 2 crews of paddlers, 6 men and 6 women, who take turns in the canoe, making water changes every 30 minutes.

@kahakusurf Always love Kauai! Love the Race, Love the People, Love the Place! The entire video was filmed on the Go Pro HD. Unfortunately some sections are foggy. In Bay Area water the lens always fogs up so I have some tricks to make it clear- but the method I use to defog it actually hindered the image quality in a tropical climate. I learned that lesson quick for race day.
