The celebration of Pakistan's defense started in Karachi with change of guard ceremony at mausoleum of founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Cadets of Pakistan Air Force Academy took over the charge of the guards at the mausoleum of the father of the nation, Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The Pakistan air force contingent at the mausoleum after an impressive parade, tuned the national song and presenting a guard of honor paid their rich tributes to the Quaid-e-Azam, the father of the nation Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Air Vice Marshal Hassan Raza was leading the contingent. Later, the smart and agile cadets of the PAF Academy assumed the charge of the guards at the mausoleum. Air Vice Marshal Hassan Raza also laid wreath on the 'Mazar' on this occasion, besides offering Prayer. Talking to media men on the occasion, he said, Pakistan army is ready to reply enemies in befitting manner in case and non one can cast evil eye on Pakistan. He said such days come in history of nation when we have to give sacrifices. On this day in 1965 our valiant Armed Forces and the entire nation stood united to thwart the nefarious design of the adversary, which had dared cast an evil eye on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our motherland.
