Highlight film (created by Rodney Mattrisch) of Ben Ericksen, Gatorade state player of the year in Wisconsin. First team unanimous all state, #1 wide reciever in Wisconsin statistically, Journal sentinal CNI Player of the year. Has the second most recieving touchdowns in state history with 19, and 20 all-purpose touchdowns. Returns kicks and punts. 40 time clocked in at a 4.49 his junior year at a Badgers camp in Madison. Also recieved first-team all-conference honors. Qualified for sectionals in the 100 and 200 meters for track his junior year, and took third place in the long jump at the state championships. Greendale's last 3 seasons with Ben include a 12-2 state runner-up team, a 9-2 team that lost in the second round of the playoffs to the eventual state champions Wisconsin Lutheran, and a 10-2 team that lost in the third round of the playoffs. Ben is currently undecided in where he wants to continue playing football, but has been offered a scholarship from South Dakota State. Other interested schools include Illinois, Wisconsin, and North Dakota

  • He really reminds me of Eric Decker at the U of Minnesota. I think if he bulks up a little he'd be great in a pro style/spread offense. I hope he gets a D1 offer.

  • he can't get a D1 scholarship because coaches don't like to give white "skill" players a scholarship spot. they give them "preferred walkon" status and let them sink or swim on their on. it's the same racism black qb's experienced in the 80's.
