@pillarsofserpents Barrow has special battery hook-ups for cars in parking spots. They have to or yes, you're right, they would freeze up. There is a video somewhere here on youtube that shows some of the cars hooked up to them. ;)

@hdeeplive - you must have special cars. or engine warmers? lol. cuz my Ford Focus has a little trouble starting in 10 degree Michigan weather.

Fascinating! I want to fly there on Alaska Airlines. Not everyone can say they have been to arctic. They actually have flights to Honolulu with a connection in Anchorage Alaska.
