I am a filipino...
the ADT is amazing.
Hiphop needs stamina so as to ballet and contemporary. Physicality in the dances would depend on the approach and choreography i think! Good Song!

@RatChieftain Are you serious? Have you ever taken a ballet or contemporary class? There's a reason ballet and contemporary are "upper class" styles of dance - They require a hell of a lot more discipline and training than any other style around. I have great respect for hip hop dancers because I know I can't do what they do, but saying it requires more stamina than contemporary dance is plain ignorance. I'd like to see you keep up with ADT's dancers.

@purbanegoro As an Australian dancer, I have to disagree. And quite strongly. ADT is renowned for having the most versatile dancers in the country (if not, the world) and is easily one of the most physical and cutting-edge contemporary companies in the world. All of their dancers are absolutely superb. It takes so much strength and courage to be able to throw yourself into Gary Stewart's choreography - These are not ungraceful or un-poised dancers.

I like this one because it really does show the different styles of dance we learn in Australia. Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary/Lyrical, Cabaret, Hip Hop, Popping, Locking, Breakdancing and not to mention the many foreign dances we learn or what I like to call 'Nationals'. These guys are multi-talented for example when the contemporary dancer starts doing some hip hop with the other dancer. It's amazing what some dancers are capable of.
Well done Australia, You're doing us proud :)
-
wow i love this dance! it must so tiring! woop! go australia! :)
-
yay australia.
pwns all the other countries:D

have you ever heard of popping? breakdancing? locking? well thats what THIS is thier are many styles within hiphop and those different styles take alot of time to learn and require alot more stamina that contemporary you dont know how hard it is to isolate your joints for popping or those painful stretches people have to do for break dancing so STFU and sheebala ... well said
in terms of versality and general amazingness i'm loving the Aussie team!

That is THE most ignorant and racist i have ever come across, 'purbanegoro'. You would have to be one of the strongest dancers to do this genre of dance cleanly, not once did i see one of those dancers not commit to their choreography.
Your stereotyping purely on one style you see here, plus i dont see you, 'purbanegoro', attempting this, i doubt you'd be able to get through one leap.
