Is it my imagination, whenever the West chooses another fuel option, the Middle East temporarily floods the market with cheap oil, and when these innovative projects are killed off, the price of oil mysteriously spikes.
What's more amazing is how these large corporations can simply sit on efficiency standards, new technology and better lesiglative solutions like any cars made in other countries and sold here MUST be heavier than the production weight of the host country. Why do they have to be heavier? To use up more gasoline.

That is horrible for GM to assume that everything will be fine with a battery that might start a fire. It's no wonder they are going out of business.
