What a great but simple recipe ! Wondering if I could melt the jam in the microwave then dip the cut edge of the pear in it before wrapping in the proscuitto...it would keep the pear from browning & avoid the squishing out of the jam ..maybe soiling the eaters outfit?

@mukwah1111 Thanks! The jam is very soft, and you just put on a little bit. It soaks up into the pear and is covered by the prosciutto. I think the jam would melt too much in the micro. Hope you enjoy it!

Hello. It is Italian for ham. Prosciutto it is not cooked ham but cured and is served very thinly sliced.
