but atheism doesn't have a doctrine or a set of ideals. It's the word that describes an absence of belief in deities. So, it couldn't be "like another religion".

I am an ABE/GED Instructor in the state of Nebraska. I have helped more students in 3 years than I ever thought I would in my entire life. It hasn't been easy, however I love every minute of it. Do not lose that passion that you have! The world greatly needs caring teachers!
