  • " for retarded adults" thats really nice since half of the population who reads comic books are between 25 and 40 . She also has anti american views. Says its our fault criminals from her country held our people , Im not interested one bit in her life.

  • Did anyone else think that is was bizarre to see the birth mark on Marjane's character's nose on the poster, and then on Satrapi's actual nose at the same time?

It connected the the book to real life for me all of the sudden. :|

  • Persepolis is my favorite movie! GO IRAN

  • She read Maus! I love this woman! I knew Persepolis was influenced by Maus, I knew it the moment I saw it. I'm so glad to hear her confirm it.

  • She is as beautiful as her work.

  • @TeoTanek well, under this regime women, atheists and homosexuals will never feel safe and equal with the others, but i am happy our nation is alive, our opposition groups and reformers inside the country are so active even though, they are constantly arrested and even tortured but they continue to protest against the tyrannic policies of the regime and they are hopeful, so am i, and people like Marjane are there to show the world what is going on in our country. God bless her

  • @ScarlettRoberts whatever you see in the movie is based on her own personal experiences and what she has experienced during the revolution and war time. that's exactly the point which makes it much interesting. and yes, that cruel Islamic regime in our country has done everything to degrade women. even though, our Iranian culture (non-Islamic) is very liberal and pro-women's freedom. Just look at her and you see the difference between the true Iranian culture and islamic culture.

  • he leido Persepolis y me encanta Te quiero.un beso. Iron Maiden forever

  • wow...i would really wanna meet her grandma tbh

  • @hiarvandi how are things now for the irani people? is it hard to be a freethinker? women, atehist and homosexuals sitll continue to suffer, or do you see a change in the future?
