  • I sae threse guys in London in 92, epic mes, then in Sydney in the late nineties, also bad sound but tons of energy. Then I saw the metro gig they headlined in early 2000's in Sydney, evry note was crystal clear and perfect and it was the best gig I ever saw or will see.

Thanks for posting. The worlds greatest unsung heroes of music.

  • Man, you get around. My pleasure for posting.

  • Saw them last night in Austin; absolutely unbelievable!

  • I know, huh?

I want to go back east and see them again. They can't possibly stop after just 19 shows...

  • this is frickin' amazing. I hope so much that they come to Europe! "Just call me Bucket Rider!"

  • I always thought it was "Buckarada." Hehehehe. 8)

  • No offense to the other bands but Swervedriver fcuking rules the universe. Nobody gets their guitars rocking these guys. Raise & Mezcal Head are 2 of the best albums of the 90s - bar none.

  • This still carves up & serves many cock rocking bands their asses on a plate

  • The ultimate guitar band.

  • That's enough for me by a mile

  • @mfish24 yeah, they do rule. :)

  • Man I hope they come to Australia. Raise is still one of my favourite rock albums of all time, and it hasn't aged badly like some other albums have.

  • adams gotten much better at singing over the years

  • i thought i was pretty conversant with his work- ----which short story are we talking about ?

  • Yes, that was the one. They were selling Never Lose That Feeling T shirts there. I loved that gig, was up the front - a fair bit of moshing going on. Excellent atmosphere. I would have been 22. Total indie kid.

Can't we do the 90's again?

  • if the backdrop was a graphic of a whole bunch of effects pedals, then I was at that show at New Cross too! It was an awesome show.

    Small world!

  • I saw them in 92 at the New Cross Venue. They had just released Never Lose That Feeling. Certainly one of the best gigs I've been to.
