I Promise You: A Nelena Story Episode 9

Sorry I havent been posting.. again =/ Well I've been babysitting my little sister like every freakin week =.= So yeah.. here you go:

Selena's POV
"Hey mommy! Who's HE?" Lily looked at the man who came with them to the hospital, not knowing it was her father.
"Lily.. Valerie.. Could you come with us for a sec? Cassidy, we'll be back." I led the twins and Nick towards an empty room.
"Girls.. He's your father." Lily arched her eyebrows up at her father and studied him carefully.
"Your MY daddy?" She asked and poked him. Valerie stood there, silently stunned at finally meeting her father.
I kneeled down to meet their heights and sighed.
"Um. Lily here is older by 5 minutes. As you can see, Valerie is the silent one. Well girls? Say hello to your father." I thought it sounded foolish and stupid to tell them to say hi to their own dad. I gently pushed them towards Nick.
"Hi.. Lily, and Valerie. Your mommy is right, I am your dad.."
Lily inspected him closely, her eyes set on her dad's face. "You DO look like the daddy in mommy's wedding album. . ." She stared at him for a few seconds, and then broke out crying. "It really is you! I'm sorry daddy! I'm sorry I didn't believe it was you at first!" Nick held her tightly in his arms.
"Its okay, Lily." He murmered.
She continued to sob for a few minutes until Selena softly nudged her. "We gotta go Lils" Lily nodded and hugged her father once more.
"You got a ride, Nick?" Selena asked suddenly while brushing her hair with her fingers. Nick fevishly nodded. "No.. I mean I was wondering if I could stay over.. I mean, it is my house." Selena stood there, her mouth open.
"Please, Selena." He pleaded, his eyes wide with anxiety.
