  • Actually 3 people wrote this song together, Jamey Johnson, who does the best version, James Otto above and Lee Miller. Jamey's version is much better with that deep voice.

  • I agree. Otto's definitely got soul, but Jamey's got the deep country thing down.

  • I saw you In Gypsum Co, some years back.....Awesome concert

  • he did a good job, but does not hold a candle to Jamey Johnson. If you dont think so go see Jamey in concert. He will sing all his songs and some classics that most of these country "fans" have never even heard of. Who else out there is singing waylon, don williams, vern gosden, keith whitley etc covers..no one thats who. Props to James otto, but Jamey would blow him and any other "new country artist" off stage.

  • give the man credit for co-writing it.

  • hahahaha your so full of shit jamey doesn't buy song you ass

  • Yes James and others wrote the song, but james had rights to the song and sold them to Jamey. And at the Kicks 99 Guitar Pull he got a standing ovation and blew every one out of the water to include Sara Evans. And even though she was "sick" i've seen her previously he would have stomped her with this song any way.

  • Totally agree..

Jamey's is sooooooooo much better in my opinion.

  • I agree. JAMEY IS THE MAN

  • Not even close, Jamey sounds much better on this song.

  • This is one of those really great songs that whomever put it out, it was going to be a hit. I prefer Jameys rough kind of gravely voice on the song, but James does an awesome job as well. I'm glad he's playing it live, I like hearing different versions of songs and this one rocks out a little more which is cool in its own way.

  • I like both versions but I LOVE James Otto so I'm gonna have to go with him. His voice gets me every time, it's like no other....You rock James....
