You know what when the Bible says about sex it usually says like slept with or so, so when Jonathan gives David equipment that is a ridiculous conclusion.

You will find no passage applauding such activity. Such unity is always talked of as between man and woman.

u wanna say the translations wrong how about you look at the original texts in original language and see if it says gay is ok...it wont. And if you dont want to do this its pretty obvious that the translations throughout many years have not shown any movement toward seeing homosexual relations as legitimate and morally sound.

The day i see the Bible translated to say "partner" instead of wife is the day i know society would become completely liberal.

It's good that you took the time to talk about this issue but I still think that the Bible probably condemns homosexuality, if only because of the context of that culture. Does God condemn homosexuality (I have a hard time believing God literally wrote the Bible verbatim)? That's the real and maybe unanswerable question for me. And I'm sorry for the comments lacking in charity to you friend. Peace.
