@youngfart40 There are more than just 3 airports with parallels. SFO is special because the two runways centerlines are only 750 ft apart. At KPHX, 25L/R are seperated by a taxiway, but that doesnt matter because they dont land 25R, that is soley a takeoff runway

other airports where you can do parallel landings are phoenix and dallas

oh yeah dude, they do double landings all the time at SFO. Every time I've gone through there.

I flew into SFO on a COntinental B738 and an NWA A320 landed parallel to us. They were 28R we were 28R. The ultimate battle of the airplane companies... if i remember we won... GO BOEING!!!!

Haha yup, I experienced this too... Except I was on the 28R when my flight was landing (the other runway shown on this video)

Until landed at San Francisco Airport and checked wikipedia, I have no idea about parallel runways so that I was aweshocked when I found an other landing aircraft near-by. Hahaha
