StarCraft 2 Strategies - Zergling/Nydus (Part 1/2) (HD)

Josh demonstrates a Zergling and Nydus strategy in the StarCraft 2 Beta that takes an interesting turn. One of many strategies to be recorded.

Since you had such a large mineral excess at the beginning, you should have built a Queen right when the spawning pool finished. It would have let you get 4 more larva every 40 seconds (via the Spawn Larva ability, hotkey is V and then use it on a hatchery), which would have greatly increased your rushing efficiency. It also would have saved you from needing to get a 3rd hatchery so soon, I would think.

okay I'm just going to tell you now, its easy to know where you are you don't have to move your overlords around cause the maps are usually done symmetrically so odds are if I'm on one side you will be straight across from me not right beside me... so just forget trying to force them to scout and build up a blockade so they cant see what you have

@Micky350 New to the game? It's completely random... chances are 33.3% that they will be directly across. As you can see in this video.... they aren't.

Like I said watch it in "720p" and the quality is near perfect. Yes you sacrifice a tiny bit of quality when it's being re-encoded but then again I could just not upload videos for you to watch if you'd prefer. I was using a faulty microphone and didn't realize it. My new microphone is being used on all videos other than this one.

@pcrsweetness actually... have you seen the game recently? only sucks if your computer does, which means you're on lowest settings.

@SC2Strategies some maps its even lower such as the 4v4 maps with 2 ppl being in the middle of the map, about 22% on that map

@loofas I have to agree w/ loofas...this is a terrible "strategy". I would take you out easy if you did this against me in game.
